As an L1E category vehicle the rider is required to have the ‘AM’ or ‘P’ class on their licence, to complete a CBT course and hold valid motorcycle insurance. As a 50cc equivalent this allows a rider over the age of 16 to ride on the road, once they meet the required DVLA criteria. The ‘Sting R’ is an evolution of the original Sting model, now increasing the overall power to 8000W and increasing the battery to 45Ah.
