Description
The VBOX Pit Lane Timer is a 10 Hz GPS logger and pit lane timer all in one. With instant driver feedback, it enables you to optimise your pit stop to avoid any penalties. One of the main features is a prompt to tell you when to leave your pit box or if you are going to cross the pit exit line too early.
The Pit Lane Timer also uses high brightness colour LED’s to easily help you identify when to speed up, slow down or leave the pit box.
The display also has the option to show font as a high contrast outline or inverse screen colours for use in different light conditions.
Speed, time and position can all be stored on an SD card for the user to examine using the Circuit Tools analysis software.
The VBOX Pit Lane Timer has three different display modes, depending where you are on the track.
- Stint time
When you are out on track, the pit lane timer will show your time from pit stop to pit stop.
- Live Speed
When you enter the pit lane, the Pit Lane Timer will show your live speed value.
- Countdown Time
When you come to a stop in your pit box, the Pit Lane Timer then displays a countdown to when you should leave your pit box.
