INDi Seat Bead System

iNDi Seat is the original bead seat system and it was first created in 1995/ 1996 and has since been used in all forms of Motorsport from F1 to FFord, including F1, F2, WEC, BTCC, NASCAR, NHRA, F3, GP3, ELMS, F4, Historic F1, Endurance Legends, FFord, Blancpain and British GT, Caterham, Radical, Ginetta & more.

iNDi Seat kit uses a vacuum casting bag with a unique bead and quick cure resin mix making it a simple, easy to use and professional system to fit any driver into any race car.

The iNDi Seat kit provides the driver an “iNDi-vidual” seating solution for the optimum racing position, improved performance and driver safety. iNDi Seat kit materials have been tested extensively (using the current FIA standard for energy absorbing foams 02.11.2010) at an FIA Approved Test Laboratory.

iNDi Seat Kit Sizes:

Seat Kit Size: 20 Litre (casting Bag size 600mm wide x 900mm long)
Ideal for lower back insert, leg only insert, areas where space is minimum, good to use when just a small insert is required. Seat shell, GT shell, historics – tight cockpit.

Seat Kit Size: 25 Litre (casting Bag size 1100mm wide x 750mm long)
Ideal for Big Drivers in a tight cockpit or seat shell. Designed to fit torso or legs etc. Inserts into Base Seats in LMP1/2 and 3.

Seat Kit Size: 30 Litre (casting bag size 1100mm wide x 1500mm long)
Ideally suits – tight cockpits or a liner / insert inside a seat shell or extractable seat.
Applications: F1, F2, GT, Touring Car, LMP1,2,3, Formula Ford, F3 & Historic cockpits with bigger drivers. Inserts into Base Seats in LMP1/2 and 3

Seat Kit Size: 40 Litre   (casting bag size 1100mm wide x 1500mm long)
As above for 30 Litre but with a smaller driver. Ginetta shell, Radical Shell, small drivers in GT Seat Shells

Seat Kit Size: 50 Litre   (casting bag size 1100mm wide x 1500mm long)
Ideally suits – The Most Popular Single Seater Application, such as: Formula Renault, F2, F3, F4 plus LMP1/2/3 Base Seats, Caterhams & also has been used for smaller drivers (and we mean SMALL!) in seat shells such as GT, Touring Cars & some extractable seats.

Seat Kit Size: 70 Litre  (casting bag size 1100mm wide x 1500mm long)
Ideally suits – like a 50 Litre to be a stand alone seat in open cockpits such as: Caterhams, Sports 2000, & also has been used for small drivers in Formula Renault, F3, IRL, Indy Lights & Super Formula.
